Several national and international research projects have documented the extraordinary biodiversity in the reserve „Floresta da Vida“.

At the Field Station we can offer an excellent structure for scientists. Besides comfortable accomodation and food we offer support by our experienced rangers while working in the rainforest.

Platforms in the canopee and climbing techniques with ropes offer access to the upper region of the jungle. Short distances make the work easier: within a radius of 5 km there is only intact rainforest.
